Trip to Macao 26 Dec 2007

All u can think about Macao ... nothing else... their CASINO...

we only have 4-5 hours there ... we didn't get to do much.. but we visited the THE VENETIAN - MACAO. Thanks to my high school mate, Chu Ai who staying there now with her family.. recommended me that i have to visit this giant size casino! Our genting ... really don't means anything when u go there!

The Venetian Macao is a casino resort in Macau, China owned by the Las Vegas Sands hotel-casino chain. The Venetian is a 40-story, $1.8 billion anchor for the 7 resort hotels which are under construction on the Cotai Strip in Macau. The 10,500,000-square-foot (980,000 m²) Venetian Macao is modeled on its sister casino resort – the The Venetian in Las Vegas – and is the largest single structure hotel building in Asia and the second-largest building in the world.

The main hotel tower was finished in July 2007 and the resort officially opened on August 28, 2007.[2] The resort has 3000 suites, 1,200,000 square feet (111,000 m²) of convention space, 1,600,000 square feet (149,000 m²) of retail, 550,000 square feet (51,000 m²) of casino space – largest in the world – with 3400 slot machines and 800 gambling tables and a 15,000 seat arena for entertainment/sports events.

Gondola ride in the Venetian
They ride u around and they sing for u tooooo - obviously is a good things to do with your love one...
one of my friend told me .. is the same as the Las Vegas!

REAL OR FATE?

7 habits of the highly effective man

I got this email from my sister and I thought it is so funny...but the logic behind is true!

Subject: 7 habits of the highly effective man

Steven Covey's famous 7 habits for successful people are nothing more than a free adaptation of Hokkien phrases. So why pay thousands of dollars to listen to ang-mohs like him when your parents, wives, husbands, and even the auntie-auntie who sweeps the floor, can give you that kind of advice everyday?

Habit No 1: Be Pro-Active
-- Kin Ka Kin Chiew (fast leg, fast hand)

Habit No 2: Begin with the End In Mind
-- Ooh Tao Ooh Buay (have head, have tail)

Habit No 3: First Things First
-- Chik Hung Chik Hung Lai (one thing at a time);
Ban Ban Lai (slow and steady); Cho Tow Seng (do first)

Habit No 4: Think Win-Win
-- Long Chong Ai! Yarh (want to win in everything)

Habit No 5: Seek To Understand Rather Than To Be Understood
-- Cho Lang Ai Beng Pek (you must be understanding)

Habit No 6: Synergize
-- Tai Kay Ai Hup Chork (all must co-operate)

Habit No 7: Sharpen the Saw
-- Toh Bua Lai Lai (sharpen the knife until it is very sharp)
